On Saturday 22 June, The Galleries Shopping Centre in Bristol Shopping Quarter will be hosting One Great Day of fun-raising for two fabulous charities.
One Great Day
Bristol shoppers can visit the centre and enjoy balloon modelling, face painting and lots of fun under their balloon arches in aid of The Jessie May Children’s Hospice at Home and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
They’re working in partnership with Fun Warehouse to bring Bristolians a whole heap of fun, including the chance to pose in front of an illuminated inflatable volcano backdrop. All activities can be enjoyed in exchange for a small donation to charity.
All proceeds from the day will be split equally between Great Ormond Street Hospital and The Jessie May Children’s Hospice at Home as part of One Great Day. One Great Day is a registered charity, initiated in 2014 by parents whose son received care at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
One Great Day has so far raised over £500,000 for more than 110 different children’s health charities across the country and this is your chance to help raise valuable funds for two fantastic charities close to the hearts of many Bristol families.
Colin Lang, Centre Manager, The Galleries says, “We’re proud to be taking part in One Great Day once again. Previous events have been great fun and even better that they were underpinned by the desire to raise funds for two great causes – especially as The Jessie May Children’s Hospice at Home is one so close to the hearts of many a Bristol family. We are really looking forward to welcoming everyone to come and share the day.”
